    LSTAs

The Local Stimulus Triggered Average (LSTA), as described in Goldin, Nature Communications, 2022, shows the direction in which a stimulus needs to be "tweaked" to increase the firing rate of a neuron. The notebook notebooks/vector_field_analysis_hoefling_2024 visualises this vector field of LSTAs.
